Idea 1: Lifeguards!

I know there’s a weekly DAO onboarding call which is awesome - it’s why I’m here! However, people who are new to PoolTogether may not even know what a DAO is.
My idea is to offer people who are new to PoolTogether the option to be matched to a Lifeguard, a long-time member who understands the protocol and can answer any questions.
They can fill out a quick form with what they’re looking to do on PoolTogether (just invest or become a part of the DAO? What time zone are they in? Do they prefer discord or email to chat? etc.)
These people can connect over discord or email, and the new person can ask any questions. Being a lifeguard can be a paid role, another form of bounty, etc.
Benefit
This solves a few issues:
- New people have a human to ask questions to instead of all of the fantastic reading material on the site, which can be overwhelming to someone brand new
- Connection with a real human takes the fear out of being scammed. I used to work in tech support for a startup and people were amazed with wonderment when I would hop on a Zoom call with them to walk them through something. A lot of bigger tech companies have taken the human element out of the equation. The human element is what makes PoolTogether so special, and it could come in handy with onboarding and retention.
- Friends! We all need more of those! (If we could just clone Tjark...)
